Seachtain na Gaeilge in St. Joseph’s
There’s a wonderful buzz around the school today. Children speaking in Irish “Labhair Gaeilge Liom” trying to win Gaeilgeoir na Seachtaine.
Irish songs and poems can be heard throughout the school and some of the senior classes got to practice Ceílí dances in the halla.
Wordsearches and crosswords have been distributed to middle and senior classes whereas the junior classes have colour by number sheets (all in Irish).
Well as they say Tús maith leath na hoibre (A good beginning is half the work) and that’s how its been here today.
