1st Class went of a fieldtrip to Stephenstown Pond. The children had a great day and enjoyed the wildlife and finding all the hidden fairies.

This month in Art, First Class had great fun creating owls. Using a template and torn pieces of paper they each created their own unique owl. The owl’s ‘wings’ were made with the children’s own hand prints. I think you can agree they turned out to be quite impressive!

Mrs Faherty’s First Class have been learning all about 2D and 3D shapes. We went on a shape trail around the school and spotted lots of shapes. We made 2D shapes in the playground from natural resources and had lots of fun making shape robots for our class display.
