The children in Mrs Faherty’s First Class enjoyed making Home Made Soda Bread. The children wrote detailed descriptions on how to prepare and bake the bread. They got the opportunity to measure and mix all the ingredients. At lunchtime they got to sample their efforts and they enjoyed their freshly baked bread.

Craig from the Louth Gaelic team came into first class for 5 weeks and Mrs. Duffy’s class learned lots of new skills. It was great fun!
The children in Mrs. Duffy’s first class went on a field trip to Stephenstown Pond. We all had a lovely time. The children fed the ducks and swans and enjoyed looking at all the flowers in bloom.
