Mr Keenan’ s 6th class have been studying World War II this month in history. The Blitz has been their main focus. We’ve learned how WWII has united Europe and the EU was set up as a result.

Ms. Perkins’ 5th Class students put their construction skills to good use this week by making St. Brigid’s Crosses from rushes collected locally in Dundalk. Students worked in pairs and got so good at making them, they made extra for Grandparent’s Day on Friday. Well done boys and girls.

December Award Winners Congratulations to all our award winners in 5th&6th class for December. January Award Winners At our end of the month assembly we had a presentation to all the award winners. We had copy of the month, Gaeilgoir and Student of the Month in each of the 5th and 6th classes.
Mr.Keenans 6th class made dream catchers last week by weaving wool around garden sticks. We all hope we’ve sweet dreams! We linked it with our procedural writing in literacy.
