Badminton Tournament

On Thursday the 18th of May, St. Joseph’s held their first badminton tournament against the school Kill O’ the Grange from Blackrock in Dublin.

Ms. Hughes and her team kindly prepared a delicious breakfast for our team and all of 6th class first thing that morning. Our school team then headed to the hall two warm up for the matches.

The games were very exciting between the schools, however, St. Joseph’s team were narrowly beaten and so Kill O’ the Grange took home the Anthony Byrne badminton cup! Hopefully next year we will win the cup back!

Well done to all on the team. A big thank you to Stephen from the local coffee shop in Dundalk for his donation which bought our fabulous new badminton gear!
