Last week we welcomed in the parents of our junior infant classes to meet Mrs. Callan. They heard some hints and tips on reading to and with your child. The parents paid a visit to their children’s classrooms to see how we read in school. The children’s teachers then did a wonderful demonstration of how to read and the children were fully engaged. Each parent got a fabulous free picture book to take home to share with their child. It really was a lovely event for all involved.
