Introducing: The Happy Land Project!
Our School Yard Is Getting a Colourful New Look!
Big news—our playground is getting a makeover, and it’s going to be full of fun, colour, and imagination!
Earlier this year, our amazing Student Council kicked off the project with a brilliant idea—and a brilliant name: The Happy Land Project. Their Pyjama Day fundraiser got the ball rolling, and thanks to the support of our principal Roz and the Board of Management, we were able to take things to the next level.
We’re thrilled to be working with artist Carol Wallace, who is helping us turn our yard into a place full of exciting playground games and creative spaces. Carol listened carefully to ideas from parents and the Student Council—and every child in the school got to share their own vision through drawings. Some of those fantastic ideas are now part of Carol’s final design!
On sunny days, our fabulous parent volunteers have been busy painting and bringing the Happy Land Project to life. The work will continue over the summer—and we can’t wait to see the final result!
