Anything But A Backpack Day

When we celebrate World Children’s Day.

The Student Council have suggested we host an:

‘Anything but a Backpack Day’

This means the children can bring their books and lunchbox to school in anything but a backpack. They could bring a basket/ shopping bag/ decorate their own schoolbag.

There are lots of ideas online too.

There are some rules for the day that are important to ensure the safety of the children and staff.

-No sharp, heavy or dangerous objects

-You must be able to carry the item

-It must not cause damage to school property

It is completely voluntary and children do not have to take part if they do not wish to.
