Anything But A Backpack Day When we celebrate World Children’s Day. The Student Council have suggested we host an: ‘Anything but a Backpack Day’ This means the children can bring their books and lunchbox to school in anything but a backpack. They could bring a basket/ shopping bag/ decorate their own schoolbag. There are lots of ideas online too. There are some rules for the day that are important to ensure the safety of the children and staff. -No sharp, heavy or dangerous objects -You must be able to carry the item -It must not cause damage to school property It is completely voluntary and children do not have to take part if they do not wish to.
The wonderful 6th classes will be organising a cake sale for 2nd– 6th classes. Money raised will go to St. Patrick’s Soup
